Border Travel Dumfries is thrilled to be nominated as a finalist in the Independent Retailer of the Year category at the prestigious Dumfries & Galloway Life Awards 2024. The awards celebrate outstanding businesses and individuals across the region, recognising excellence in community, enterprise, and customer service.
With over 400 nominations across 20 categories, being shortlisted is a huge honour and a testament to the dedication and passion of the Border Travel team. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 8th November 2024, and Border Travel would like to thank their loyal customers for their continued support. Regardless of the outcome, this nomination reflects the team’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional holiday experiences.

Border Travel was established in 1964 which means that, this year, we turn 60!
To kick off the celebrations and as a thank you for all your support over the past 60 years, we are giving away a completely free 3-night Jet2Holiday to Rome worth £800, plus £100 spending money for one lucky winner and a companion.
Travel dates are 15–18 November 2024, departing from Glasgow and staying at the 4-star Navona Palace Luxury Inn on a B&B basis.

Border Travel , Travel agents in Dumfries are delighted to announce that on the 1st of November 2012 they won the prestigious "Best Independent Leisure Travel Agency " at the SPAA Annual Travel Awards 2012 ( Scottish Passenger Agents' Association ) which took place at a glittering event at the Thistle hotel in Glasgow.
This awards evening is the pinnacle event in the Scottish awards calender and is a fantastic achievement for our agency to have won this award. This is also fantastic that a business in a small area in Dumfries and Galloway can be recognised on a national scale. Border Travel were also short listed in the Best Consolidator category as well to cap a memorable evening.
